Ted Solar Honored for Solar Energy Projects in Sharm El-Sheikh

In a special recognition, Egypt’s Minister of Environment and the Governor of South Sinai awarded Ted Solar for its role in implementing solar energy projects in Sharm El-Sheikh as part of the national effort to transform the city into a green hub. The project included the installation of solar stations with a total capacity exceeding 40 MW, helping reduce CO₂ emissions by around 35,000 tons annually.

Private Sector Contributions to Environmental Initiatives
Ted Solar collaborates with private sector partners and development stakeholders to expand solar energy across hotels and tourism facilities, integrating renewable energy into Sharm El-Sheikh’s energy mix.
